Hegewei Electronics announced that its next-generation deep-sea communication antenna has completed its technological iteration and has officially entered mass production. This product features a new signal-enhancing technology and a structurally designed with superior corrosion resistance, enabling stable data transmission over a range of up to 100 kilometers in deep-sea environments at depths of 3,000 meters. Compared to conventional products, the new antenna boasts a 35% improvement in signal reception sensitivity and a 25% reduction in power consumption. Additionally, it exhibits enhanced resilience to harsh environmental conditions such as typhoons and high-salinity mist, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including long-range ship communications, underwater robot networking, and data transmission for deep-sea research vessels. The product has now passed the relevant technical certification by China’s Maritime Administration.
